We boarded
Eurostar Italia (now known as Le Frecce) [link] from Venice to Florence early in the morning. When we reached Florence, we spent a lot of time finding for our hotel. Florence is a big bustling city. It is very beautiful, surprisingly. When we managed to find the hotel, which was called La Luna Guesthouse, it was already 2pm.

| Antique doorbell. First time using this to enter our hotel! |
The destination of the day was the
Leaning Tower of Pisa in Pisa. It is a tower that is tilted to one side and is still tilting. The tilt is caused by bad construction due to soft foundation on one side. However, this tilting makes the whole tower magical! We took the 3:30pm train from
Florence Santa Maria Novella Station heading towards
Pisa. The tickets were bought at a counter in the station and cost about €14 (RM63) each. It took us about 1 hour to reach. The tower is situated at the other end of the city from the station. You have to walk straight across the city to reach the tower.

| Passing through here to reach the other end. |
 |
| A fare organized by students was going on. |
 |
| Crossed the Arno River using a bridge. |
The Tower of Pisa is located within the walls of
Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli). In the square too, there are other beautiful landmarks. The tower is also actually part of the
Cathedral of St. Ranieri.

| From this angle, you can see the tower is leaning to one side. Tower in front, cathedral behind. |

| The famous pose but failed photography! |

We headed back towards the station. On the way, we dropped by this flea market selling antiques in the
Knight's Square (Piazza dei Cavalieri).

| The Knight's Square. |
 |
| Antiques! |
 |
| Really old newspapers. Preserved. |
 |
| The buildings in Pisa. |
We took the same train back and it was crowded with people. We had to stand throughout the whole journey! Pretty tired but the visit to Pisa Tower is worth all of these.
