From Florence, we took a train to Rome. I could not recall which train company we took but it cost us around €44.50 (RM200) each. Rome is just about 2 hours away. We arrived at
Rome Termini Railway Station, which is the main railway station of Rome.
Our hotel was located in city centre, called Hotel Orlanda. It was near dusk when we arrived. Rome is the capital city of Italy. It is regarded as one of the world's most beautiful ancient cities. I did not see any skyscrapers like the ones back in KL. The buildings there are more from the Classical and Ancient Roman styles.

The first place we visited was the
Colosseum. Colosseum is the largest amphitheatre in the world. The exterior of the Colosseum we see now is actually already collapsed. For more information on the ticket prices and the opening hour, click

We did not enter the building though because it was near closing hour. Around the building we walked and I noticed people still hold functions inside. Nearby the Colosseum is the
Palatine Hill. It is one of the most ancient parts of the city. Rome was founded there. Because it was late, we just viewed the hill from afar.

We went for some shopping and took our dinner. I found the most mini Nutella I have ever seen!
